Student of The Year
This will be awarded to three winners; the primary section winner, secondary section winner and the higher institutions winner.
Apart from being decent, the candidates and eventual winners of this category must be a whole package socially and academically. They must possess unique qualities in interpersonal skills, public relations and leadership abilities.
The candidates are expected to express interest through an application, accompanied by a recommendation from their head teachers [for primary and secondary schools] or heads of departments/ lecturers [for higher institutions of learning].
Our panel of judges will therefore select the finalists, whose profiles will be shared with the public to know some more about the candidates. The public will therefore, on the basis of these profiles, vote their best candidate. Online voting will contribute 60% to the final results.
On the day of the gala night, these candidates will have to showcase their abilities in decent fashion, public speech and general knowledge, after which the audience in attendance will vote for the winner through secret ballot. The ballot vote will contribute 40% towards the final results.
Most Decent Female Business Personality
Women in business are both influential and have the power to help positively shape the opinion of society towards decency. This category covers women entrepreneurs, women in leadership positions of reputable and established business entities as well as investment organs.
However, we intend to roll out to women in Small and medium enterprises with time.

Most Decent Politician
Apart from carrying the image of the people they represent at different levels, politicians also represent the image of the entire nation. It is therefore important that they dress and carry themselves in a way that is decent and exemplary.
Whereas this category covers women in politics at national level, we intend to eventually spread out and cover women in politics at local government level as well.
Candidates and eventual winners must be women in elective political office, like members of parliament, as well as cabinet ministers who occupy political office, irrespective of whether or not they went through an election.
These must be decent women in politics, who dress and carry themselves decently, both at work and in public. They must indeed be role models and inspirational figures to the community, especially to the girl child.

Gone are the beautiful days when school uniform used to be decent. With the onset of modernization, school uniforms have gradually lost touch with decent designs and opt for something more “cool”
This category therefore seeks to award primary schools whose uniform is not only decent, but also smart to detail and unique both in color and design.

Most Decent Public Servant
This category covers women in all public offices at different levels. Just like politicians, public servants carry the image of the different public organs they work for, as well as the nation at large.
That’s why it is important that they embody the very core of decency in the way they dress and carry themselves both at work and in public.

This category covers female celebrities of al nature, not just music as is traditionally perceived. Celebrities are widely loved personalities who should not only be held in repute in the public eye, but must also use their fame to influence society positively.
That is exactly why they must be decent and exemplary and decent; and act as role models to the women who look up to them and wish they were like them or aspire to be like them.
